Valour FC defeated HFX Wanderers 1-0 at home on Sunday afternoon, courtesy of a Moses Dyer goal with just a handful of minutes remaining after a tough close contest that nearly ended scoreless.
Though both sides had some chances — and Valour should have taken the lead in the first half, were it not for a strange William Akio clearance (see below) — the Winnipeg club were the better side on the day, and it was Dyer at last who sent the home crowd into a frenzy.

WHAT DID WE JUST WITNESS!? ?
One of the most bizarre sequences in soccer history, as this player celebrates a "goal" too early and kicks the ball into the sky BEFORE it fully crosses the line ?#FIFA22 | #FUT | #soccer pic.twitter.com/JdTrfaE0ss
