In the last couple weeks, Forge have been playing left-back Kwasi Poku in a centre-forward position to fill the gap left by some injuries to their regular strikers. It’s worked out beautifully though, with Poku picking up two assists against York United on Saturday.

So, Charlie O’Connor-Clarke and Mitchell Tierney took a look at what is making Poku so dangerous and effective in that number nine role, and why Bobby Smyrniotis thought to try him there.
