Day 1 of the Canadian Premier League’s #GotGame Open Trials in Quebec has come to an end, with Montreal native and trial lead coach Alex Bunbury more than proud of his hometown’s collective showing in Laval. But, with CPL head coaches like York 9 FC’s Jimmy Brennan and Valour FC’s Rob Gale watching and assessing all the talent on display, only 58 of the more than 200 participants will be invited back for Day 2 of the Quebec trials.
Who might those players be? A little fewer than half of the players from Day 1 have been invited to return for the second day of trials to show their skills in 11-v-11 situations. Here’s a list of players who have made it to Day 2 of the Open Trials in Quebec:
