Though Soccer Unites Hamilton promises to colour Tim Hortons Field in orange kits and scarves on April 27, a sizeable portion of York9 green will be present at the Canadian Premier League’s inaugural match.
The club announced Thursday it sold out its away allotment for the inaugural match against Forge FC, crediting an “incredible response” from season seat holders.

Y9 officials are set to take approximately 1,000 supporters to Hamilton via chartered buses from various locations in York Region.
Nine Stripes supporters are set to be counted in what could be a record-setting crowd at Tim Hortons Field.
